Put your brain and braun to the test on the most exhilarating coastal tracks, forest trails and hidden valleys of western Cyprus. Just as Aphrodite lost her heart to Cyprus when she made it her home, you will fall in love too as our adventure trip leads you across rugged trails and pine scented forests. With miles of forest tracks, trails, loose surface unmade roads and donkey tracks, this adventure is for those who enjoy cross-country hikes.

Package includes

  • Return Economy Class Airfare with Cyprus Airways
  • Airport transfers from Paphos or Larnaca airports
  • Bed and breakfast accommodation on a twin sharing basis in good quality hotel based in Polis/Latchi area
  • 5 days of activity (3 days mountain biking & 2 days hiking) with bike hire and all safety equipment included.
  • Lunches on activity days (5 lunches)
  • Transport on activity days

Experience/Fitness level required:


Beginner level
: this will require a reasonable level of fitness with limited experience in cycling off-road and on rough terrain. Short distance walks through the hills so previous walking experience is not essential.


Intermediate level
: previous experience of mountain biking and hiking on rough hilly terrain is essential. There will be longer distances to cover than beginner trips as well as more challenging hill climbs, some of which will require sustained climbing for up to 5km.


Kit List (all seasons):

(A more detailed kit list will be sent dependent on time of year)

·         Cycling kit – tops (preferably breathable), shorts (padded cycling shorts will be more comfortable!), cycle shoes/trainers

·         Leggings/Ron Hills in case of high winds

·         Waterproof top – there is a greater likelihood of rain at this time

·         Windproof top or fleece

·         Small rucksack (or Camelbak/hydration pack if you have one)

·         Camera

·         Sunglasses (we strongly advise wearing eye protection when riding)

·         Sunscreen Lotion

·         Insect repellent

·         SPD pedals (if you want to use clip in pedals you need to bring your own)

·         Casual clothing for the evenings to include a warm top/fleece/sweatshirt as the evenings can still be cool at this time

·         Snacks/energy bars/energy drinks – dried fruit & chocolate bars are available to buy locally but if you are used to using a specific brand of energy drink/energy bar, we suggest you bring some with you
